Morning! Here's the breakfast menu. There's cereal, oatmeal, or pancakes. We have jam too, strawberry or orange. Bacon? You bet. It's an American breakfast!

My husband makes the oatmeal at six every morning. He puts honey in it. He says it's a secret, but I know. So, what can I get you?

Okay, what are you having? I'm having the big breakfast. Scrambled eggs, hash browns, everything. And a large orange juice.

You want a croissant? Just a croissant? Oh, and a boiled egg, because you're "on a diet." Ha! Okay, fine. You do you. Hi there, we're ready to order!

Hi, Grandma! No, I didn't skip breakfast. Well, yes. But I'm having brunch with Cem at eleven. I'm going to fry some eggs and spread butter on the toast. Real food, I promise.

The syrup is next to the sugar, but I don't use sugar. I'm sweet enough! Coffee? Juice? Don't be shy. Sit down, sit down!

On weekdays I'm always in a rush. Toast in one hand, shoes in the other. But on Sunday, I sleep in. Until nine!
