Should you move to my area?
So you want to move to my area? Good idea! Let me tell you about it.
It's quite busy during the day, because there's a market and lots of cafés. At night the main road can be a bit noisy, but my street is quiet. And there's a big park five minutes away. I go running there every morning.
Is it safe? Yes, I think so. I walk home late and I feel fine. My neighbour, Mrs Patel, knows everyone, so nothing happens without her knowing! Come and visit this weekend and see for yourself.

My five-star review (with a but)
Five stars for my neighbourhood, but let me be honest. I've lived here for three years, so I know the good and the bad.
The good: the corner shop is open until midnight, and the man there knows my name. There's a local bakery with the best cinnamon buns in town, and every Saturday the community garden has a free plant swap.
The bad: the traffic at eight in the morning is terrible, and the buses are always crowded. Last week I waited twenty minutes, and then the bus didn't even stop. The driver just waved at us! So, my advice? Buy a bike. And try the cinnamon buns.

Mr Kowalski and the trumpet
You want to know about my neighbour? Oh, Mr Kowalski. He's lovely, but he plays the trumpet every evening at six. Every single evening!
My street is usually quiet, so the trumpet is really noisy. At first I was angry. But now the whole community loves him. Last week we put chairs outside, and everybody listened. The children danced on the pavement, and Mrs Bell brought tea and biscuits.
So now it's a local concert. It's louder than the traffic, but it's nicer than the telly. Tomorrow he's going to learn a new song. I'm a bit afraid! Come on Friday and listen too.

Is it safe? Ask the local
Excuse me, you look lost! Are you new here? I'm Dan, and I live just round the corner. Let me help.
Is it safe? Yes, very. I walk home at night and I never worry. Everybody says hello, even the dogs. It's busy on Saturdays, though. The high street is crowded, and the buses are slow, so don't take a taxi. Walk!
For food, go to the corner shop on Oak Road. The owner makes the best sandwiches in town, and they're cheaper than the café's. Also, the park is lovely in the morning. It's much quieter than the town centre. Welcome, and good luck with your new home!
